What we do:

Welcome! Tender Tots Home Daycare, We offer an emotionally healthy, safe, and nurturing environment to enable your child to develop physically, emotionally, socially,  and academically.

At Tender Tots Home Daycare, we truly believe children learn through play. The children learn how to socialize and interact with others, words and communication, numbers and counting, to use their imagination, and teamwork, all while they think they are just having fun!

We offer structured and non-structured play for the children. Structured play turns play into a learning activities in which the children learn colours, numbers and the alphabet while having fun. Such games include children trying to find a letter of the alphabet that had been hidden; counting how many blocks are in the tower we just built, or finding specific colors in nature while we play outside. Our daily storytime enables children to discover that reading can open up a whole new world of fun and excitement. We also incorporate music and movement on a daily basis. Activities such as colouring and drawing allows children to discover the fine motor skills that helps them to do well in school.

If the weather permits we go outside everyday. Our backyard is child safe and contains a swing, a slide, a basketball net sandbox and more. In addition we have a large park close by with with lots of equipment especially designed for children.
